Dear colleagues, During April 26th and 28th of 2010, the first Sino-US Dental Summit (SUSDS) will be held in Chengdu, China. This high-level international academic meeting has been approved by the Ministry of Education of China, and will be hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Oral Diseases and West China College of Stomatology of Sichuan University. As the co-chairs of SUSDUS 2010, we are honored to welcome our colleagues from all over the world to pay a visit to Chengdu this summer. In this conference, top experts from United States and China are invited to share with us their latest and foremost discoveries in oral and dental research fields including stem cells, tissue engineering, gene treatment, tumor biology, biological materials, and salivary gland diseases. Meanwhile, many young researchers will be granted the opportunities to exchange their thoughts and findings with the world-class masters. As the host of SUSDS 2010 and the key sponsor of the State Key Laboratory of Oral Diseases, West China College of Stomatology has just celebrated her 100th anniversary of establishment. This college takes pride in being the cradle of contemporary stomatology in China and the bridge connecting the oral and dental community between China and the world. This meeting will be held in the city of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, the home of panda bears and the pearl in the Southwest China. With a history over two thousand years, the city is filled with world-famous culture sights and surrounded by breath-taking natural views. However, what the people live here are most proud of are the hospitality, generosity and kindness deeply rooted in their hearts. So we believe that SUSDS 2010 will not only be a great forum for academic exchange, but also a unique cultural experience full of joyful memories. We are looking forward to having you here in April 2010!
